Starter bracelets consist of a slide clasp and chain using any clasp available from our site. They can be found at our: PERIOD Collection, UNIQUE Custom or The STAR Collection. Examples on this page are from the Star
collection.
We find that wheat chain is the best to use, but we also have cable and rope chain available, all in various widths. On length, please allow 1/2-5/8 extra on starter bracelets, as you add slides the length
can shorten due to the shape of the slide and they should have some play available.
The traditional set up of a slide bracelet places round gold beads in between each slide. This helps protect them from rubbing and
distinguishing one slide from another. They are not necessary but functional. Some will have more than just two on each chain and fill in the space with multiple beads, removing them as more slides are added. The cost per each
4 mm. 14k bead is $2.00.
All of our clasps come with a secure thumb lock and figure 8 safety. We can add safety chain at an additional cost of $28.00 each, but generally they are not needed.
The cost of the bracelet chain is the same for wrist size from 6”-8 1/2” inch, any length over that is extra. If in the first year you find the need for a longer chain, we will replace
it free of charge. After the first year we charge $40., including credit for the old chain. Every order includes a stringing kit with instructions..
