I believe this to have originally been a spoon bowl that had lost itīs handle. Rather than chuck it away, someone made it into a charm by soldering the ring on top. This is not an ancient item. There are no markings or stamps on it. I do think itīs silver and not plate. Measures 2 ž x 1 ― inch. Has a few dents and a bit bent on the edge, but can be corrected.
