The stone is Agate. They measure 1 x 3/4 inch each and the hole size is smaller than a size 1 finger. I doubt these were worn as finger rings, put probably were strung on a cord.
Agate is said to make its wearer agreeable and persuasive and instil the favor of God. It also brings victory and strength.
