All hand made. fantastic engraving and carving of claw caps and birds. Mizpah means an emotional bond between two people who are separated.(either physically or by death)
Mizpah jewellery is worn to signify this bond and the word "mizpah" can often be found on headstones in cemeteries and on other memorials. From the Bible Genesis 31 "And Mizpah; for he said, The Lord watch between me and thee, when we are absent one from another."
This fantastic piece is in excellent condition. No damage what so ever. It measures 4 1/2 inches long by 2 3/8 wide. Each claw measures 3/4 wide. Weight 70 grams
