Ripley’s catalogue number 8721

Measures 2 1/4 in high by 1 5/8 wide. weight 10.3 grams of silver.
The small square in the plain area of moon is a silver Hallmark. Crowned ladies head looking right with number 8.
Research shows that this is a mark from Naples Italy 17.-18 cent. Mark 7406 on pp 381& 391 in The Book of Old Silver, Seymour B. Wyler, 1937, Crown Publishers.
