An exceptional item. This appears to be more Islamic or Persian than Chinese. There are no makers marks. Made of silver or nickel. Having hand chased floral designs and ornate borders. One end opens for storage of maybe an important document or just to carry spice and herbs. Tube measures 4 5/8 inch long by 1 inch diameter. the chain is 36 inches long. There are 7 strands of chains and 5 bangles. These could be made to balance between the rings but we chose to keep it in the original positions. |
